Soulmate was formed in Shillong in October 2002 by Rudy Wallang and Tipriti Kharbangar. The band is dedicated to playing the blues and spreading awareness about the genre. Since their inception, they have cemented their place as one of India’s top blues artists and have performed the world over. The band will be supported by an opening set by Aman Wadhwa, who will be performing a one-man rock ‘n’ roll show with covers of greats such as The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Neil Young.
