In anticipation of the KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, which takes place next month, KASHISH presents a day of LGBTQ-focused events in collaboration with Writer’s Bloc. The day starts off with a screening of 14 international LGBTQ films that were award-winners or audience favourites at KASHISH 2015. This will be followed by the staging of Marathi play Tutak, about a man torn between his wife-to-be and his sometimes lover, Niko. The day will conclude with a discussion about the play, during which members of the Humsafar Trust, an NGO that promotes LGBTQ rights, will be available to answer questions about queer issues.
Tickets: Entry is free for the film screening and Rs 300 for Tutak (7:00pm and 9:30pm)
