This film is based on actual experiences of parents, teachers and students and told through the eyes of a teacher, Santoshi Kumari, who fights for a divorce with a corrupt income tax officer to become a Physics teacher in a school. Her pupils are in the D division – sarcastically referred to as the section of duffers within the school. The thought-provoking story follows how Santoshi tackles the faulty system to set her own terms for her students to succeed.
