Kadak Reading Room is a traveling library of self-published comics, zines and art. The Reading Room opens with #39;A History of Women in Comics#39;, a talk and presentation that will cover the history of female comic creators and representation of women in comics, from the beginnings of the medium in the late 1800s till present day. This will be followed by a QA session with members of the Kadak Collective, a group of South Asian illustrators, artists and graphic designers whose members include Anindri Chakraborty, Akhila Krishnan, Janine Shroff, Aarthi Parthasarathy, Garima Gupta, Pavithra Dikshit, Kaveri Gopalakrishnan and Mira Malhotra. The Reading Room of comics and zines will be accessible till December 6.
