Diwali is almost here and this looks like a good time to ring in the festivities. The Diwali Concert series by G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture is in its fifth year of bringing notable classical musicians to patrons of music. This year, the concert begins with khayal recital by Manjiri Asnare Kelkar, an exponent of the Jaipur Atrauli gharana. Also performing during the day is Kolkata-based Sitar Maestro Pt. Budhaditya Mukherjee of the Imdadkhani Gharana.
Note: First half of the concert happens from 10 am to 1 pm and the second commences from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
