One World Many Musics: Celebrating Artistic Plurality is a musical event conceptualised and led by Shantanu Moitra and featuring artists Ani Choying and Kaushiki Chakrabarty, inspired by the Himalayas.
The event will include Song of the Himalayas, a unique musical performance by Moitra that will be accompanied by an audio visual presentation. Buddhist nun Ani Choying will perform Tibetan Buddhist Chants and feast songs, while Kaushiki Chakrabarty, Indian classical vocalist and daughter of legendary Indian classical musician Ajoy Chakraborty, will also grace the stage and showcases her versatile vocal prowess. The trio will be supported by an ensemble of musicians including flautist and vocalist Ashwin Srinivasan, Ankur Mukherjee on guitar, ukelele and charango and Daniel on keyboard.
