Founded by Kartik Shah and Nirali Kartik, Maati Baani means #39;the languages of Earth#39;. The contemporary folk outfit incorporate verses by venerated poets such as Kabir, Bulleh Shah and Mirabai into their music, and their live performances are known for being extremely lively and energetic. They#39;ve performed at several music festivals including NH7 Weekender and World Sufi Spirit Festival. The opening act for the night is the Murshidabadi Project, a four-piece acoutistic folk band from Mumbai.
