The play is a set of monologues, performed by two women who speak on issues which are a matter of controversy in our country. Each monologue deals with the inner self and the feeling of the spirit to break free.
The subjects of the monologues vary from shaving a woman’s head after the death of her husband, being a homosexual, being a phoenix after rape, completing graduation at the age of 50, sperm implants, and many other topics are touched and performed beautifully. Both the women believe that they are not depicting feminism, but are depicting what they did for themselves in order to get independant from the society.
