Now in its 21st edition, the European Union Film Festival will feature 24 exceptional, award-winning European films from several countries including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic and Denmark. This year’s selection will include varied genres ranging from absurdist comedy, to gripping drama, unexpected romance and heart-stopping action.
Highlights include Jack, the story of an abandoned ten-year-old boy who picks up his six-year-old brother and finds his way to cope with living on his own, Coriolanus, about a Roman soldier who is despised by his own people and forced to turn to his enemy to find acceptance, and L#39;illusionniste, about an out-of-work illusionist who has a life-changing experience when he meets a young woman in Scotland.
