The play is an adaptation of a book of the same name, by Shamim Padamsee. It is about a king, who loves to eat food. He believes that he does not eat due to his need to live, instead he lives for his need to eat. His three chefs love to cook for him and he rewards them regularly for the dishes that they make.
The play intensifies when the princess is born and turns out to be a fussy eater. She does not like anything that is prepared for her and the chefs have a hard time preparing a dish of her liking.
Note - the play would be performed at 12 pm and 4 pm on both days
